Universal is a first paraglider ever to smoothly and efficiently merge two aspects:
nicely hadling free-flying paraglider (with EN/B certificate),
full-blood paramotor canopy (conforming to the DGAC standard).
Universal is a great free-flying recreational paraglider, including cross-country flights. Beginning XC pilots will surely appreciate exceptional comfort in uneasy thermals, resulting from considerable amount of reflex traits present in the design.
On activating the trimmers, Universal becomes a full reflex paramotor wing, good for both leisure and cruise flying, thermalling, last but not least for initial paramotor training.
No matter what kind of flying you choose, the Universal has a perfect launch, rigid canopy, is pretty agile, nicely handling and safe.
Exceptional versatility of the Universal is a result of its genesis. The wing was born as a byproduct of the Synthesis2 development process. One of the paths we’ve been following was creation of a relatively simple paramotor wing, featuring better economy, agility, easy launch and low power demand. Some of the prototypes did not stood up to legendary stability of the original Synthesis, but demonstrated many other valuable traits we did not like to drop. So, we’ve explored that path and as a result we proudly present the Universal, which will become a favourite of the beginner and recreational pilots, with or without a paramotor on their back.
As is the case of all our paragliders, the design draws on our long-time experience, simultaneously incorporating state-of-the-art technologies. The Universal is in last stages of receiving both free-flying (EN-B) and paramotor (DGAC) documents.
Target Group:
Beginner and recreational pilots flying exclusively paramotor. Perfectly suited for initial PPG training.
Beginner and recreational pilots flying exclusively free.
Beginner and recreational pilots flying mostly free, sometimes with paramotor.
Beginner and recreational pilots flying mostly with paramotor, sometimes free.
Beginner and recreational pilots flying both free and paramotor.

Dudek Synthesis 2
Synthesis 2
$3550 - $3950
Call Ryan to order: (512) 545-6280
Synthesis2 is a full-relfex canopy for beginner and fun pilots. Due to its stability can be also used for basic PPG training. For those, who most of all need a safe paraglider.
For those, who appreciate easy launch and steering. Speed enthusiasts will be happy too – Synthesis2 keeps the pace with sport wings. If you are looking for a paraglider that is safe, universal, fast and user friendly – look no more. This is a synthesis of all these traits.
We’ve been working on the second version of Synthesis for a very long time. We’ve considered several ideas of this wing evolution. There were prototypes with better lift, better agility and many other assets, at times modifying the character of the wing so much that it was not a Synthesis any more…. Finally we’ve decided to implement in Synthesis2 very similar solutions that changed the Nucleon into Nucleon WRC (FET technology, riser improvements, modern ballooning etc.). Nevertheless we’ve kept the uncompromising, legendary stability of the Synthesis on the same, highest possible level, adding easier launch and better performance, resulting from introducing leading edge stiffeners as well as a lot of lesser yet important details.
Synthesis2 has fully reflex profile in all configurations of trimmers and speed system. We put special care to shaping cells in accelerated mode, being forced to use completely new design philosophy in that matter.
Right connections between mylar reinforcements and synthetic rods makes the inflation easier and the leading edge stiffer.
Another novelty is modified ALC+ system (new version of the ALC steering, with a handle and balls) – it is more efficient and operates proportionally, leaving impression of smoother handling.
Target Group:
From beginners to advanced fun flyers. Canopy is suited for basic training too. It will be a perfect match for a trike.
Design Solutions:
FET – Flexi Edge Technology
Design of the Synthesis 2 employs Dudek Flexi Egde technology. The leading egde is closed to the airflow, and its precise shape is guarded by reinforcements of laminated cloth with additionally applied synthetic rods. The result is distinct improvement of launch characteristics and protection against collapses at high speeds.
CSG – Canopy Shape Guard
The canopy body was designed under our CSG (Canopy Shape Guard) system, combining a number of subsystems resulting in exceptional coherence and stability of the shape. Such design ensures a smooth top surface, exact aerofoil reproduction across the entire wingspan, better load distribution and yet more importantly, minimal number of suspension points.
The lower surface has a RSS (Reinforcing Strap System) applied in the wing’s interior. RSS is an ballooning-independent reinforcements system made entirely of paragliding fabric, stiffening and
stabilizing entire canopy structure.
CSG in general guards three key factors :
keeps the shape of the canopy as close as possible to that developed by the designer and makes sure the loads remain evenly distributed. Careless approach here would result in irregular surfaces with bumps and swells.
CSG stabilizes canopy shape in flight. No pilots likes his paralgider to behave like an accordion, especially as this really damages the performance.
CSG increases the life of the paraglider too. Advanced designs pay for their performance with bigger loads and stresses, resulting in relatively fast appearing deformations – the most dangerous are those visible as folds on the upper surface, running between lne rows along the wingspan. In Synthesis possibility of such deformations was practically removed.
DRA – Dudek Reflex Airfoil
The aerofoil of the Synthesis2 is based on DRA (Dudek Reflex Airfoil) technology, gathering many years of research and experience with our previous designs.
Laser Technology
All paragliders or now manufactured in this modern technology, using precise laser cutter. The entire production process takes place in our own facilities in Poland, under strict personal supervision of the designer, resulting in highest European quality.
Cloth
Upper surface features Dominico Tex cloth of 41 g/m2.
Lower surface is made of similar cloth, 34 g/m2.
Ribs are made of Dominico Tex 41 Hard.
Reinforcements and leading edge use SR-Scrim cloth of Porcher company.
Rigging
All suspension lines have coloured polyester sheath covering inner core. Due to low number of lines we made sure they are strong enough, applying brown Technora core. In this way we combine strength of the lines with their high resistance to stretching.
Metal Parts
All quicklinks joinig the suspension lines to the risers are made of polished stainless steel with excellent strength, durability and corrosion resistance. We use exclusively the attested quicklinks of Peguet company.
ACS – Auto Cleaning Slots
Dedicated slots automatically removing dirt from the wing tips.
Risers
Synthesis2 has four-way risers, featuring:
ALC+ allows for aggressive turns even at full speed without excessive alteration of the reflex airfoil. There is a dedicate dsteering toggle with red balls, mounted with magnets preventing it from tangling on take-off. It can be grabbed in various positions, does not require an adjustment.
SCT (Sport Comfort Toggle) or TCT (Triple Comfort Toggle) – at your choice. Both kinds are available as standard or short (smaller loop) versions. Toggles are fixed to risers with Easy Keeper system
ELR (Easy Launch Riser) system. A specially marked A riser (yellow cover)
TEA (Torque Effect Adjuster) – counteracts the effect of engine torque which tends to make the paraglider turn in the direction opposite to the propeller’s rotation. Moreover, you can use it for steering even at full speed, without disturbing the reflex aerofoil
Speed system affecting the A, B and C risers, featuring ball-beared pulleys and a special cord
Trimmers with distinguished red trimmer tape, featuring dedicated scale
Several mounts for steering pulleys various, used in correlation with suspension height
On Delivery You Will Receive:
- Moto Bag (backpack with removable quickpack))
- Transport bag with compression strap.
- comfortable Easy Catch speedbar
- etui with paperwork and repair kit (sels-adhesive cloth, spare line)
- windsock or a ribbon
- small gifts
- Total worth of these additional items adds to ca. 150 EUR.
NOTE!
When ordering the canopy please state your propeller turn (looking from behind to flight direction) and hangpoint (low or high). Knowing these parameter we will preconfigure your risers.
When no informaiton is given, we will prepare the paraglider for low hangpoints (ALC and steering lines) and clockwise propeller (TEA). Changing this is possible at any time and relatively easy.
Dudek Snake
Dudek Snake
Agile Slalom Paraglider
4100$-4400$ |
Call Ryan to order: (512) 545-6280 |
You are an experienced paramotor pilot, who tried the slalom flying and now is going to challenge the best. You look for a fast and agile wing with perfect handling, turning on a dime. It has to be turbulence-proof too, so practically only a reflex wing counts.
If you complete that wish list with small paraglider size, there is only one answer to your dreams: the Snake.
Snake is designed for experienced pilots excelling in slalom tasks
, or those just loving dynamic manouevres and rapid speed changes.
As standard it is fitted with 2D steering and PA system (Power Attack, also known as the Paap Kolar system).
Basic difference between Snake and Hadron is profile geometry that can be altered with trimmers, speed and Power Attack system, like it was in the Nucleon and Plasma.
At 5,9 aspect ratio its 59 cells look relatively modest, allowing for easy inflation and perfect internal pressure distribution. Synthetic rods on its leading edge (Flexi Edge Technology) bring considerably better launch characteristics and stability at high speeds.
The paraglider has the SL rigging (mostly sheathed lines, with some bare threads in the upper gallery).
2D steering system (featured as standard) is well known to the competitors, who have been using it with sport version of the rigging in some of our paragliders. It consists of two main steering going out of one handle, i.e. inner line, led through the pulley and affecting middle 2/3 of the trailing edge, and the outer one (outside of the pulley), connected directly to the outer 1/3 of the canopy.
Due to such division, experienced pilot can modify steering progression according to his own preferences. Everything depends on the pilot’s wit and experience. Those, for whom the Snake is intended, will be able to customize the steering system to their own liking.
Although Snake was designed as retaining features of the classic paraglider, use of the reflex airfoil added a couple of new traits. First of all, reflex airfoil means that stability of the canopy is no longer tied to the pilot only. The paraglider remains stable, rising or sinking when passing through lift or turbulence it stays over pilot’s head and does not require any action.
Action of the trimmer and speed systems brings lowering of the attack angle and uplifting the trailing edge, resulting in reduction of projected surface and chord of the wing by ca. 15%. This in turn increases paraglider’s wingload and speed. Accompanying forward travel of the centre of pressure adds better longitudinal stability. Such a change of loads makes the Snake collapse-resistant and simultaneously increases its projected aspect ratio, thus increasing its performance too (especially at high speeds).
Reduced reflexivity of the Snake with closed trimmers is at least partly compensated by its reduced size as related to maximum take-off weight, resulting with increased load factor.
Snake, as all other paragliders by Dudek is manufactured wholly in Europe, at our Polish production plant. In addition to our standing policy “quality first”, this allows the designer to directly control complicated production process (Laser technology) from the very beginning to the very end.
FET – Flexi Edge Technology
Snake’s canopy features Dudek Flexi Egde technology. Precise shape of the leading edge is closed to airflow, and its precise shape is guarded by reinforcements of laminated cloth combined with synthetic rods, which significantly improve launch performance and protect the paraglider against collapses at high speeds.
CSG – Canopy Slope Guard
Entire body of the Snake was designed under our CSG (Canopy Shape Guard) system, comprised of many subsystems resulting in exceptional coherence and durability of the canopy.
The Snake has an elliptical planform with slightly rearward swept tips. The cells are divided with ribs additionally supported by diagonal VSS (V-shaped supports) system. Such arrangement ensures a smooth top surface, exact aerofoil reproduction across the entire wingspan and yet more importantly,
minimal number of suspension points.
The lower surface features RSS (Reinforcing Strap System) applied in the wing’s interior. RSS is an ballooning-independent reinforcements system, made entirely of paragliding fabric, stiffening and stabilizing entire canopy structure.
Most of all, the CSG oversees three key factors:
- it forms the canopy, so that its shape remains as close to design as possible, with equally distributed loads. Lack of attention here would result in irregular surface with balloons instead of flat cells (unfortunately, stil quite a frequent sight, even on wings of ‘renowned’ manufacturers).
- CSG stabilizes canopy in flight. Not a single pilot likes to see his wing moving like an accordion, especially as it does significantly hamper its performance.
- CSG improves durability of the paraglider. Simple designs fairly quickly pay for locally accumulated stress with deformations – the most dangerous are those visible as lateral faults on the upper surface between suspension line rows. With the Nucleon Cabrio WRC that danger is practically eliminated.
Dudek Reflex Airfoil
Snake’s aerofoil is another product of our DRA (Dudek Reflex Airfoil) technology. It was calculated with our previous experiences in mind and thoroughly tested with numerical methods. It is a full bred reflex profile, with accordign characteristics.
Areas close to suspension points are reinforced with laminated cloth, and the cloads are equally distributed on three planes: vertical (through the ribs), diagonal through the VSS system and level through the RSS.
All crossports have been prepared using OCD (Optimised Crossports Design) technology. Carefully designed shapes of the openings and their optimal placement between stress lines guarantee very efficient pressure distribution in the canopy and its quick inflation. These openings are scaled together with the ribs, so that their replicability is flawless and they do not disturb the aerofoil in any way.
Laser Technology
Snake is manufactured in new technology, utilising capabilities of precise laser cutter. The enitre production process takes place in Poland under strict supervision of the designer, ensuring highest European quality.
Cloth
The upper surface is made of Dominico Tex, 41 g/m2 weight.
The lower surface sports the same cloth, but weighing 34 g/m2
Ribs are made of Dominico Tex 41 Hard.
Reinforcements of the suspesion points and the leading edge use Porcher SR-Scrim cloth.
Rigging
Almost all suspension lines have coloured polyester sheath, with but a few of them unsheathed. Due to low number of lines we’ve made sure they are strong enough by choosing brown Technora inner core. In this way rigging remains strong and reliable.
Metal Parts
All quick-links between risers and suspension lines are made of polished stainless-steel, with proven durability and resistance to corrosion. We use exclusively the attested quicklinks of French Peguet company.
ACS - Auto Cleaning Slots
On the wingtips you can find dedicated slots, automatically removing dirt and rubbish from the canopy.
Risers
Snake features four-way risers, equipped with:
2D – multi-role steering handle (regular brakes)
SCT (Sport Comfort Toggle) with Easy Keeper system
ELR (Easy Launch Riser) – launch assist system. This is specially marked A riser (yellow cover)
speed system affecting A, B and C risers, equipped with ball-bearing pulleys and specially suited line,
comfortable speedbar of the Easy Catch system,
trimmers with red trimmer tape, sporting a scale,
PA (Power Attack) system – a merger of the trimmers with regular speed system, so that pushing your speedbar automatically and simultaneously releases the trimmers,
various levels of steering line pulleys, depending on the suspension height used,
TCL (Tip Control Line) – allows for heading adjustments and turns even at high speed, without distorting reflex profile too much. Steering is done with dedicated red line, fixed to the corresponding stabilo steering line.
Some parts may work as well known from our other canopies the ALC and TST systems.
Complete kit you receive includes:
Moto Bag (a backpack with separable quick-pac)
Transport bag with compression strap.
Easy Catch speedbar
etui with documents and repair kit (self-adhesive cloth, spare line)
wind ribbon or windsock
small gifts
Total worth of these additional items amounts to almost $280 USD
Dudek Hadron
Fast Agile and High-Lift Racer
3900$-4600$ |
You are an experienced paramotor pilot, averaging several hundred flight hours a year. You can master a fast and agile canopy. You love playing over the ground with slaloms, wing overs, foot dragging etc. Maybe you take part in high-level competitions or plan to beat some world record…
If so, you are looking for the really fast and agile paraglider with perfect handling and little power requirements.
It has to be turbulence-proof, so the reflex aerofoil is a must. If you add to this wish list possibly small size, honestly you´ll have to admit this is a rather tall order. But… it´s possible to satisfy it!
Just enter the interaction with the Hadron
Hadron Strong Interactions
Hadrons are tiny elementary particles, which speeded up can carry gigantic amounts of energy. Accordingly, the Hadron is fast, energetic and can lift a lot.
Creation of this canopy was inspired by Pascal Vallee, one of the best pilots in the world. Pascal’s input was also substantial in testing and refining the protoypes. His ideas materialized within Hadron proved to be perfect, as confirmed by consecutive triumphs in many competitions.
The paraglider is obviously dedicated for the frequent and experienced flyers, which have perfectly mastered the reflexed gliders specifics. Although the target group of the Hadron is similar to Plasma pilots, there are significant differences between both wings.
Hadron’s “reflexivity” is a bit lesser than that of the Plasma, but in return it is constant in all trimmer positions. At 5,9 aspect ratio its 59 cells look relatively modest, allowing for easy inflation and perfect internal pressure distribution. Synthetic rods on its leading edge bring considerably better launch characteristics and stability at high speeds.
Hadron GuideSeries-production Hadrons have classic steering configuration, i.e. the pilot has but two brakes at his disposal. Steering system is called 2D. Steering lines are configured in such way, that at low and medium speeds their geometry is not very aggressive, thus enhancing precise canopy control. At high speeds (full trims + speedbar) only the outer steering lines should be used, alternatively you can enter some corrections by the TEA system. Since the steering is divided (there are two lines at the handles, one goes through the pulley and the other directly to trailing edge) an experienced pilot can adjust brake progression to his own liking. The other systems known from our previous canopies (ALC or TST) can be used too, without much trouble at installation.
Like all of our paragliders, Hadron is produced entirely in Europe, at our Polish plant. Thus close monitoring of the complicated production process is possible, and the distance between designer’s ideas and their implementation is as short as it can be. However, Hadron is the first paraglider we cut exclusively with a recently purchased state-of-the-art laser cutter. Stunning capabilities of this machinery allow for serial cutting of intricately shaped, narrow parts inlarge numbers, as well as their best distribution regarding the textile structure. Without such precise technology at our disposal production of the Hadron would simply not be possible.
